Hey photographers,
I recently went backpacking around Europe with a friend and my Fuji FinePix S2950. I took thousands of photos, many of which I was hugely happy with. Unfortunately, upon my return I discovered the 4gig SD Card had become corrupted. Can any suggest a cheap and easy way for me to get my photos back? Im sure many of you feel my pain! Thanks a lot, Max x |

Hi Max,
If you do a search on Google for 'recovering images from corrupt card' you'll find a lot of options. I've not experienced the problem so can't say how effective any of them are. Good luck in retrieving the photos. |

Max, were you able to solve this already?
I had the same problem and i agree with siolaw, i downloaded Recuva, installed it on my PC, filtered the category, and voila! recovered some of my files. However, I have the files opened through that same PC from my memory card. I doubt your files will be recovered if they weren't opened on the PC where you will install and use the software. Goodluck! |
