Eagle78. Not a typical English building

Although this is a lovely building is it not really typical of the area or of England in general. It was styled on a Swiss chalet. That said, there are a number of black and white buildings in the Lake District with galleries or balconies as shown on this building. The balconies were used for wool spinning.

Thanks for that Keith, I never knew it was styled on a swiss chalet - it is lovely though and it fits in well with the village.
