Default To emka: About the trek

Thank you Malgo,

Indeed 1.700 metres isn't very high. I've been on much greater heights in India, China and South America.
Remember that Phewa Lake near Pokhara is located at an altitude of 742 metres above sea level.
This is not to say that I climbed 1.000 metres in one day!
After all, the tour starts by car from Pokhara to Kande, which is already slightly higher. That's where the stairs start.

I cannot say that the trip was difficult. But too many stairs for my liking.
And too large parts without any view (because of vegetation or trees).
During the longer treks you will see much nicer panoramas. But those treks were too hard for me.

Yes, I had the guide to myself.
I don't remember the price but that short trek wasn't expensive.
However, it gets very expensive if you want to go to Mustang. You also need a lot more days for that wonderful part of Nepal.

Best regards,
