Can't access my account

Frequently when I want to upload a photo, I cannot access my account. What am i doing wrong?

are you sure you are actually ' signed in" when you are trying to do this?
I know that sounds silly but I have made this mistake myself. You know when you are signed it says " welcome--- ( then your username) then click on your user name in bold and it will take you to your profile page where you can see "Account".
