Hello Francisco,
Nice photo, so warm with its orange tones and subject. Great idea to write Merry Christmas in so many languages. I'm afraid the Romanian greeting should be "Crăciun fericit" rather than "Sărbatori vesele" which sounds a little strange -- it's the equivalent of Merry Holidays but Happy Holidays (Sărbatori fericite) or Happy Christmas (Crăciun fericit) is used instead. But I've strayed so far from the photo...

Default To cherryripe: How hot

Hi Nikki,

The temperature got to 32 degrees on some days. This would not seem very hot in my native Melbourne, but out on the ridges with no shade and the sun reflecting off the rocks, it did seem pretty hot, especially when walking up steep slopes. This was late August. The week before we went there, temperatures were about 20 - 22 degrees, much more pleasant.

Cheers, Vince

That's pretty hot for August. I'm from Melbourne too and if I have to spend 10 days in Melbourne in winter, it'd be nice to have some warmer weather in the centre.
