Great Royaldevon 2021-11-28 8:04

Hello Gert,

There is so much to enjoy in the f/g that it took me a while to move across the water.
This balcony is a perfect spot for enjoying a coffee, the couple and their outdoor furniture spreading across two thirds, whilst the remaining part exhibits the lovely details of a shrub in flower.
The couple are sharply portrayed , the striped shirt of the gent calling for attention.
The rail, acting as a support, is almost on the horizontal thirds line, accenting the fine composition again.
It looks like a fun place to spot the important buildings across the Baltic, in Stockholm.

The fun fair makes a fine spectacle but ... like you, I'm not tempted onto the rides, though I would have loved them in my youth!!
Is the red building, visible in the w/s, the fortress seen from this view?

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Thank you Bev for your carefully written critique.
In the note to the WS I had originally described a great experience I had at that fun-fair in 1967, when I heard the Jimi Hendrix Experience from a distance of about 3 meters in a small dance hall. It was a previously unannounced concert after they had performed on an outdoor stage for 15.000. I was among the relatively few who bothered to hear them again. It was much more fun inside, but that may be have been the time when I developed a mild case of tinnitus that I still keep as a fond memory of my youth. ;-)
Kind regards,
