Hi Steve,
I think this is a great photo, with perfect reflections of the tea trees and granite. A good vantage point for showing the profile of Whale Rock. You were there at just the right time (early morning), but then timing is all important in landscape photography.

To PaulVDV: The Lower East Side
Hello Paul,
Yes, we were on that corner when we walked around the Lower East Side. It's right across the street from the Tenement Museum where we said goodbye.  Now there's a modern building being built where that empty lot was, so nobody can paint messages or art there any longer.I hope all is well on your end. Take care! Brenda
