Great emka 2021-02-21 1:50

Hello Jorge, Interesting note about Catherine the Great. She was born in Stettin, Pomerania, Prussia (now Szczecin, Poland). In June 1755, the British ambassador to St. Petersburg, introduced her to his personal secretary, 23-year-old Stanisław Poniatowski, the future (and the last) king of Poland, with whom in December of the same year she started a dangerous affair. It was rumoured that her daughter Anna (who lived only 14 months) was supposed to be the fruit of this romance.
later, The Polands neighbours - the Habsburg Monarchy, the Kingdom of Prussia, and the Russian Empire, divided up the Polish Commonwealth lands among themselves progressively in the process of territorial seizures and annexations, resulting in the elimination of sovereign Poland and Lithuania for 123 years. So for us, she was not so great :)

But the photo is rather poor, the composition is not careful, and the sharpness is not good.
Have a nice Sunday
