Howdy Malgo,
Crowded and popular NY Times Square, which I frankly have never had the urge to visit. This place is propagandized constantly on TV as the place to be for New Year's Eve. I enjoy being with friends and family with our own fireworks.

Hi RAy, Yes, it is always in TV, I am not creative here
 . I do not like the places with too many people, in fact, I am afraid of the crowd. I stay at home just watching TV and by computer. Still three hours to the end of year. And I do not like the "private" fireworks, it is strange tradition in Poland and bad for animals. Enjoy this last and first hours with your family  Malgo

New Years celebrating
Hi again Malgo,
Fortunately, the few times I have celebrated shooting off fireworks has been in the desert with very minimal impact on the environment, though truthfully perhaps a wandering ant or two may have perished?
