HOwdy Karen,
Attractive sunrise view across the Mesquite Dunes, light and shadows, waving patterns, dune peaks, and the Panamint Mountains background.
Good job,
Cheers,
Ray

Hi Ray,
thanks for looking at my dunes photo. I don't know if those are the Panamints as the Mesquite Dunes are surrounded by mountains. It was such an unusual and beautiful place. Have you been there ? Karen |

Dear Karen,
Since my first trip to Death Valley when I was nineteen, I have always enjoyed returning, sometimes camping, other times staying at the Ranch. And the Dunes are one of my favorite escapes, especially after a windy afternoon, which 'cleans' and lays new surface ripples and erasing foot steps. One can sojourn out into the Dunes and leave civilization behind, to enjoy Nature's creations. I believe the mountains to the west of DV's Valley are the long and dominating Panamints. Hope you are enjoying Spring, and keep up the fine photo creations. Sincerely, Ray Anderson ![]() |
