Great photoray 2015-04-12 9:33

HOwdy Karen,

Attractive sunrise view across the Mesquite Dunes, light and shadows, waving patterns, dune peaks, and the Panamint Mountains background.

Good job,

Default To photoray: dunes

Hi Ray,
thanks for looking at my dunes photo. I don't know if those are the Panamints as the Mesquite Dunes are surrounded by mountains.
It was such an unusual and beautiful place. Have you been there ?

Default Mesquite Dunes

Dear Karen,

Since my first trip to Death Valley when I was nineteen, I have always enjoyed returning, sometimes camping, other times staying at the Ranch. And the Dunes are one of my favorite escapes, especially after a windy afternoon, which 'cleans' and lays new surface ripples and erasing foot steps. One can sojourn out into the Dunes and leave civilization behind, to enjoy Nature's creations.
I believe the mountains to the west of DV's Valley are the long and dominating Panamints.

Hope you are enjoying Spring, and keep up the fine photo creations.

Ray Anderson
