Howdy Karen,
Excellent dunes view, with the sand textures and details up close in the foreground, receeding into the smooth hills, then topped with the dramatic colorful cloud sunrise.
By getting to the Dunes at sunrise you can photograph the patterns of Nature, minus human footprints, etc.
Thanks for sharing,
Cheers,
Ray

Hi Ry, thanks for the kind critique of my photo. You should have seen how many footprints we left in that area that morning. I was with some other photographers and we climbed all over the dunes looking for good leading lines in the sand.
![]() Have a great day, Karen p.s. I can't wait to go back to that park someday. It is so fascinating... |

Hello Karen,
I agree, Death Valley is a worthy 'return' place and exploring the many geology features stimulates photography creativity. Did you have areas of wildflowers? March and April are often prime wildflower times, if there was enough rain water. I am envious and enjoy your Nature artworks. Take care, Sincerely, Ray Anderson |
