Simple composition and very good one.
Two things:
1. I think that you should take the frame to the left.
2. The light was too bright because of the sun, you should (if you could) take this picture in thearly morning or in the late afternoon, when the light is soft.

To elroyie: I agree
I agree with you but to explain a little on the circimstances, this was sort of a chance shot because a bunch of friends were heading out to this taverna for food and beers. Usually while I was on this island, I would be too tired and drunk in the early morning hrs and just tired from the beach in the late hrs. That was then. Now too old for that lifestyle I will attempt to follow your advice. :-)
