Great fkostas 2009-02-18 18:27

Hi Gregory,

A nice catch of the bird eating. These white birds are devilish to get detail in. Not bad...P.S.,,,This is the great white egret. Actually, egrets are herons, but I don't know why some herons are herons, and some herons are egrets...I am waiting for my Woodstork. You will know him when you see him with out doubt.

Default To fkostas: Bird I.D.

Hi Farah:

I am terrible when it comes to identifying birds. If it's not a cardinal or a bald eagle I pretty much have no idea what I'm looking at. Thanks for the help and correction. Next time I see a great white egret I'll know what I'm looking at. Oh, and roseate spoonbills are pretty easy to I.D. also.

Greetings from Fort Myers.........................Greg
