Hello Ayfer,
He looks very amused at having his picture taken. His telpek is truly impressive and this must be among the more original headgears I know of. It's interesting that you went to Turkmenistan, which I understand is a very peculiar country, rarely seen on TE. Can Turks and Turkmens understand each other?

almost yes dear Gert, some words are the same as in Turkish and some are so close. so they can understand each other easily.
