Great holmertz 2020-12-23 9:43

Hello Brenda,
It's a magnificent Christmas tree, and there is a strong contrast between its cold, wintry tones and the cosy warm light coming from the windows. This contrast makes the photo very eye-catching already as a thumbnail. The many dark figures admiring the tree help to create a nice atmosphere. Maybe the snowstorm might have created an even better atmosphere this year, but it wouldn't have been worth the trouble and risk-taking to go to find out.
I'm sorry about the death in your family, but I hope you can enjoy the holidays anyway.
Best regards,
Gert

Default To holmertz: Thank you

Hello Gert,

Thanks for your message. I have been looking at all your latest photos from Indonesia, and have, once again, fallen behind on critiques.

It was my aunt who passed away, and at the still young age of 61.

Have a beautiful Christmas, and take care,
Brenda
