Bonjour Tristan, long time no critique ! Et puis on se retrouve.
Very nice oblique (I *LOVE* obliques!!!) composition indeed, giving some un-reality to the subject, kind of abstract approach to this amazing tree. I like the unexpected and small banana leaf, popping up by the side of the right hand BaoBaB, too. But, to be totally honest, I feel this shot lacks contrast, zest, punch, POWER! It would look so much better with it, I'm sure. I would also have cropped the disturbing black mark on the bottom left part of the image. What do you think ? Still, I like your picture very much.
