this is quite a strange shot. the framing is unusual and it looks like you've heavily edited this shot in post processing.
i like the idea behind your shot tristan. the b&w works really well for me. i think the shot is good. well done.
HOWEVER, there's no photographer's note. this is a big problem because the note is just as important as the photograph in helping us understand your shot, your motives for shooting and what it all means.
remember TE's mantra: learning through photography.

Merci, Alain -

hi...
what a haunting shot! the bright black and white works extremely well, and composition quite fascinating. the grains get in the way though. but it's a very remarkable photograph anyway:)

Hello Tristan,
This B/W is really excellent. Like something directly from the magnum pages. The contrast is great and so the context of the picture with the 5 children in the back. This is really great man.

Very symbolic picture.
Overexposure at backside thinning those childrens foots and arms, its makes better picture in this case.
Also "Boston" text put to think this picture more.
Very good, thanks Tristan.

scary, those in the back look like from concentration camp. I like compo, quality is bit poor however, maybe its the grain///

This photo makes me cry: if cropped the upper part and letf only the boy...it would have been like an existing alive Jesus Christ... while the whole photo (and, Tristan, you did it good not cropping!) shows that so many children are cruelly in danger of being like jesus Christ...today!!!!.....and there are so many... even in the European Rich and Blind Union.... this is your 2nd pic in my favourite. + Rocco
