This really has the atmosphere of an African town, Tristan--worn buildings, hanging clothes, children running around everywhere. The slow shutter speed works well. The black and white treatment is good, but you might be able to get more contrast in the foreground and in the sky, to make it more dramatic. Regards, Ken.

Hi Tristan,
That old house is beeng ruined but life flows around it. The tilt of picture induce even more that the house is falling.
Nice shot! A little more contrast for the sky could improve it.

J'aime beaucoup celle-ci aussi, elle traduit bien l'atmosphere de tous les jours à Mada. J'aime bien aussi ce gamin qui passe à l'avant-plan, flou, et qui te jette un regard.

This picture bringing Africa closer of us, with that house. Pippi Langstrumpf house in Africa.
Foreground boys leg is break in a moment, but movement and shutter speed making good picture.

I wonder how this house is standing... it really looks like it's gonna crush on the first blow. Good capture of the real life there.

Hi Tristan,

A good daily life photo with details, the children moving and the framing. One thing I want to add: Your house constitutes the greatest part of your photo, so the name of the photo can not be small house:)
