034 / A view of Baie de Grand Port, Mauritius
The spectacular Baie de Grand Port is a ridiculously clear coraline lagoon snuck into the southwestern coast of Mauritius, famous for welcoming the first western settlers on this Indian Ocean island. Its hard to believe that such a paradisaical setting was the site of a fierce naval battle in 1810 where the British gained control of the island from the French. Today, the bay has been spared the ravages of tourist development, and retains the quaint air of a fishing harbour. The handful of tourists who sail across it are greeted with sublime waters and stunning views of the Lion and Bambous Mountains.

Hi Prayash
What a scene!! The color of the water combined with the tones of blue in the sky make a perfect compliment to reach other. I'm amazed at how the shades of blue mix among the active clouds
Cheers

Hello Prayash!
Not much land, just a small decoration, but a wild and lively sky combined with absolutely clear waters. A view which makes me curious to see that country.
