#4 from series presenting colors of Morocco.
Picture was taken at part of souk in Marrakech.
Manually tenneries are very popular in Morroco. They tenner skins (most famous in Fes) and wool. In this place they tenner wool of sheep and goat. Colors come from natural dye : mint (green), indigo (blue), saffron (yellow), and henna give strong red.

Bravissimo, immagine molto interessante!! Anche questa molto caratteristica del posto, è una bella fotografia, dove il fuoco del soggetto evidenzia perfettamente la conformazione del tessuto!

I like very much your series about the colors of Morocco, they are always so simple (in appearance) and so strong, very good choice of symbolic subject and very graphic, rigourous composition. On this one the red color is absolutely stunning, and I like the close composition and the shallow DOF, which allow us to guess what the object is, but focus mainly on the lines and colors. Great work!

Great series on those very representative elements of Morocco with such strong colours. This one is my favourite as it is very well rendered with a beautiful light, incredible colour and great sharpness. Bravo!

Very attractive picture with a nice depth due to perfect focus. Sounds, scents and colours, all toegether or each alone, are very often enough to suggest a country... And you succeeded here to give us more than "just a red image", you gave us a "feeling" about the place.
