Hypnotical shadowing, a photo from Marrakech, South

Tout d'abord merci à tous pour les critiques de ma photo précédente, c'est la première fois qu'une de mes photos connait un tel engouement et ça fait plais' :-)
Avant de partir en week end je vous propose une photo osée toujours sur le thème des ombres et lumières à Marrakech prise dans les jardins de Majorelle. Sublime jardin, vraiment somptueux même si difficile à photographier j'ai trouvé. Je vous propose un essai, car oui c'est un essai, plutot dans le genre minimaliste, art dans lequel je débute. Si elle ne plait vraiment pas je pense que je la retirerai de TE.

First thanks to all for your words on my previous upload, it's the first a picture of my gallery knows such a rush in critics, i'm very pleased :-))
Before leaving for week end and beacause it's friday, i propose you a try, cause yes it's a try, still in my shadow / light in Marrakech serie taken at Majorelle garden. Beautiful garden, but difficult to take in picture considering the number of people and tourists and the few good POV it gives. As you know me, i was harsh on contrasts and saturation ;-) If you really don't like it i think i will remove it from TE.

waow encore M'sieur Sébastien! Quelle ville inspirante et magnifique (du moins à travers tes yeux...).
Jolies couleurs encore une fois et j'ai beaucoup ce jeu d'ombre et de lumière créant un graphisme intéressant...

Bonjour, Sébastien. Pour un essai, c'est drôlement bien réussi. L'ombre du treillis qui se reporte sur le carrelage complète très bien les formes géométriques et se prolonge, mais de façon différente sur le mur bleu. La mporte avec ses rectangles nous donne d'autres formes géométriques, mais aussi d'autres couleurs. Il y a une très belle unité de tons et de formes et tout cela donne une excellente photo. Dommage peutr-être pour le poteau qui coupe le pot en deux, mais c'est un détail.

Fantastic art of shadow, Sebastien
Only colorful Moroccan house itsellf is charming. Then with this play of shadow makes it even more fantastic.
Great pattern on vivid colors.

Great colours and some interesting little details in this one, but it's those superb shadows that make this shot a success. Very well seen.
Personally I'd have preferred it if you had managed to keep the door upright, but even so, I like this one a lot.

It is a very interesting picture for its colours , POV and sharpness. The pattern created by the light/shadow is perfect and the main feature of the photo. The only thing a bit strange is may be the vertical lines in quite different directions. I presume it is the result of a wide angle. Anyway, it is a beautiful work and I hope you will keep it on TE. Well done.

Vu 100 fois en deux heures et commenté plus de quinze fois, à mon avis ne jette pas!!
Non sérieusement, c'est graphique, avec des couleurs bien dosées, l'ombre apporte une touche de fraicheur.
C'est très bien vu!!

Comment peux tu douter un instant qu'elle ne plaise pas ???
On sent bien qu'il y avait là plusieurs options de cadrage mais ta compo est très réussie, on est en plein dans l'ambiance du jardin.

Les couleurs sont bluffantes. Et le jeu d'ombre et de lumière... Rien à dire. Il y a plein de choses à voir dans l'image mais l'oeil ne s'y perd pas trop. Il peut au contraire s'attarder sur les différents détails au gré des couleurs et des contrastes.

Pourquoi, Sébastien, retirer une photo qui te plaît et qui j'en suis sûr plaira à beaucoup. C'est une photo comme la précédente que j'aurais aimé faire. Elle se regarde comme un tableau de Matisse avec les couleurs du Sud et un graphisme superbe.

Encore une merveille! Je pense que ce n'est pas ta dernière photo qui va susciter un tel engouement.....tu as vraiment un style et tu arrives à trouver à chaque fois des cadrages ou des couleurs originales.Quel oeil et quel talent!

le plus important c'est que cette photo te plaises, TE est une vitrine qui permet de confirmer ou d'infirmer ce que l'on pense d'une photo, perso, c'est une reussite, l'impact colometrique est tres fort ainsi que la distribution des ombres et des lumieres.

Magnifique serie. Je n'ai pas beaucoup de temps pour commenter car toujours en vioyage au Vietnam. Mais c'est avec un grand plaisir que je decouvre tes petites merveilles lors de mes episodiques passages sur TE.

Le jeu d'ombre en deux couleurs (sol et mur) est génial.

C'est pas bientôt fini de nous dire que tu vas retirer tes photos alors qu'elles cartonnent sur TE? ;o)
Je n'ai pas laissé de commentaire sur la précédente, mais j'ai beaucoup aimé. Celle-ci est encore plus recherchée (à mon avis) avec ce jeu d'ombres et de lumières sur ces murs colorés. Le résultat est très graphique et se laisse contempler avec plaisir. Continue comme ça (et arrête de douter de la qualité de tes photos)!

Of course i am not a fool to miss this one, just maybe some disorder in the sequence of critiquing :)
I am amongst the large crowd of applauders who fell in love with the blue of this photo. And light/shade textures that bear the originality of your compo. Seeing this needs a good eye my friend. Lovely result.

Hi Sebastien, I like it and it seems that I'm not the only one ;-) but despite this I think that no one should ever delete a posted shot from TE. Every shot tells us something and the critiques that other people write tells us even more about the shot. I see TE as a learning experience and if we just keep the popular shots, well than we will start to learn only half of the story. So I did some excursions about my TE philosophy and less about the shot. I hope you forgive me for that.

Ces trous de lumière sont hypnotisants... Difficile de croire que c'est naturel, tellement cela semble photogénique. Très belle composition et réalisation (même si le contraste était dur à gérer, je pense).

Bonjour Sébastien,

Ouvrant un thème sur le bleu majorelle, je découvre une de tes premières photos sur TE.
Il est possible qu'aujourd'hui tu la ferais différemment mais ton travail sur les ombres était déjà présent et c'est ce qui m'intéresse dans cette photo car je pense que quand j'aurai complété mon thème majorelle elle sera unique en son genre
Sur ce je m'en vais "chasser" la photo du jour (sans trup d'espoir vu le temps)
