Hanging Bananas in North West Africa

Agadir Morocco is located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean (northwest Africa) near the foot of the Atlas Mountains, There are many markets to visit and some basic tourist places often with snakes to hold and camels to ride. In addition there is an interesting harbor to photograph with lots of boats of all kinds.

This is a market view. Just bananas with a background of color.

It's a nice composition. The bananas are very good eye-catchers and the colorful pieces of cloth hanging in the next stall provide a perfect background.

PS Thanks for your comments on my latest photo. I almost expected the changes you described. There is more comfort today, but I think some of the great atmosphere has gone. It happens all the time.
PPS Morocco is in northwest Africa. ;-)

Wonderful bunches of banana and such superb natural colour along with fantastic repeats and good focus. Bit of contrasting colour in the background I think, adds a lot to this shot. Congrats

Hi David,
great use of the repeated motif of banana.
Fruit are always a nice subject for photography due to their well saturated colors and on a market they also make repeated motif...
A very original capture here because the bunches are hanging from above. In addition there are those other colored materials which contribute other colors and patterns for background.

I'm not sure if bananas are exported in Morocco. But they will undoubtedly be grown there since a lot of bananas are grown in the nearby Canary Islands and especially eaten in Spain.
With the fabrics you have created a very colourful background.
An attractive composition.

A nice colored still life, the rounded bananas contrast with the straight pieces of cloth, as the yellow is matching with the blue hues.
