A Lemming, a photo from Er Rachidia, South

Photographer's Note

In the afternoon sun I was climbing a mountain of sand, my legs burned and my lungs cried out for mercy but it was this little lemming on the mountain of sand opposite to me that spurred me on.

I love this sand dune curve and the sky is so blue...The big skyline gave a good contrast on the small human presence. TFS

Draws the eye immediately to the tiny figure, then the curves become dominant, finally the wisps of cloud in the richly coloured sky. A wonderful picture which I put in my favourites.

Hi Mike,
this is my favourite kind of landscape, very nice presented here, keeping a low horizon and a big blue sky. I like the little figure interfering with the curved line of the horizon. Nice contrast and superb colours. Well done!

Worth all the effort. The landscape is awesome and you selection of more sky in the picture is fantastic. Keeping one person gives a lot of depth and reality to this picture.
