Photographer's Note
View of medieval Fes Medina (old town). Because of narrow streets it's not possible to use cars in the Medina, so this area is considered the largest car free urban area in the world. Medina of Fes is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Taken at 9:56 in the morning from the hilltop fortress south of Fes.
Camera settings: 144 mm zoom, Av mode, ISO-200, +0.3 Eve exposure compensation.
Converted from Raw with color temperature set to 4750K, slightly cropped, increased contrast.

Ciao Linas,
anche in sicilia c'è una località che si presenta in modo molto simile.
Si tratta di Ragusa Ibla.
Impressionante la quantità di parabole per la ricezione dei programmi in digitale.
Ottima luce e sharp.

WOW!!! What an awesome shot. The mushrooming digital antennas are a strange addition to this scape. Wonderfully captured.
cheers!

Hello Linas,
Wonderful shot of the Medina, but probably the most interesting element in the image is the hundreds of satellite disks on the roofs of the buildings, quite remarkable really.
Marvelous image.

Hi Linsa,
I like this photo very much. Fantastic houses, so densely built, in the same colours. You do no t see any streets, they are hidden. And this minaret just in the center. Thanks for sharing

Excelente foto desta paisagem urbana. Uma composição quase abstrata. Trabalho competente.
Visite minha página. Fotos interessantes.

Hi Linas,
The views over Fes are indeed impressive with so many of these buildings all the same colour, what fascinated me most was the hundreds of satelite dishes on the old buildings which one can see clearly here. Nice!

A great one Linas,
I'll be there in march and hope I can get some shots as good as this. Great detail and contrast for not much variation in colour. Congratulations.

Hello Linas,
I know this place and I find you have well translated in your photo what is really Fes. Without any borders visible in the photo, it is increasing the felt size of the town and it was a good idea to use this framing.

labas, Linas
simple, yet engaging take. your POV does create a feeling of endless ant-house city. by the way, with slight alteration of that POV you can get a different shot: letting those satellite dishes dominate the frame ;) not that it would be better: just different.
warm regards,
