Himba tribe is one of the most peculiar ethnics in Africa. The women cover their skin by red mixture of mud and cow grease. Very special is their hair style.

Hello Michal - This is such a special shot. I live in Namibia and only recently went up to the Kunene on a trip. I saw the Himba but never a mother with baby on her back. So this shot is really interesting. The details of the leather baby carrier with all the decoration is very well captured and I love the way the baby's head is lolling back - obviously fast asleep.
