Photographer's Note
We became quite wet of the rain that came from the Namibian part of Chobe. Quite irrelevant actually, because it was an impressive sight.

Hi Boa,
What a great capture! I've seen lots of bands of rain living in the UK, but never one as impressive as that! I really like how the rain contrasts with the sun highlights on the left casting down over the boat onto the water.
Nice one!
Cheers

Hello Boa,
Really impressive capture of how mighty nature can be.
I guess the people in the small boat must have felt very tiny.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Boa,
woah, it must be impressing to see such a rain curtain coming in your direction. Most astonishing is the fact to see blue sky around it and this makes the composition wonderful.
Well taken my friend,

Hi Boa,
I can imagine how that storms falls from the sky, but only becaus I've experienced it myself. Totally grey vail of water shows strength of nature. Brighter clouds on the left add nice contrast.
Do you have more Namibia pictures coming?

Hi Boa,
The contrast between the squall as a star and bright cloud at the left is truly amazing. It seems that the main squall might become stronger when reducing the reflecting on the water, for example using a polarising filter. This is very suitable for TE's mission.

Hej Boa,
I agree, impressive is the word. I haven't seen anything quite like this, but it might be worth it if I had a camera ready. Those people in the boat look like they may not even notice the rain approaching because the tall grass hides the view.
A memorable shot,
Gert

Hello Boa,
This is an amazing shot!!
The clouds appear to have developed a hole through which the rain is falling faster than any shower! Excellent contrasts between the shapes and colours of the clouds!
In spite of all this wet excitement, you have still managed a fine composition.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
p.s. Do you have some dirt specks on your lens?

Hej Boa,
this IS the RAIN!! looks like it will sweep away everything that happens to be in its way :)
Very good capture of the moment, very impressive! The rain and the clouds look like a huge curtain... and the ground is the big stage.
And those... in the distant boat... are they "actors"? since this view looks like a stage? ;)

Bonjour Boa,
le nuage qui se déchire en averse, une photo d'un moment décisif qui donne une idée parfaite de ce qui attend ceux qui sont en dessous de lui.
Excellentes lumières, tu était bien placé.

Hello Boa
Spectacular and contrasting sky - and the boat adds interest. The 3 birds are a well caught bonus - escaping the approaching storm no doubt. Tfs, Marlene

Hello Boa,
This is an impressive shot! It is interesting how there are two opposite kinds of weather in one frame: the sun shining on the left, and that huge rainstorm in the rest of the frame. The rain looks forceful enough to wash away everything in its path. I like these kinds of storms when I am inside. :-)
