in many places in Africa kind of roots and sticks is used as natural toothbrush beacuse of the properties of the juices flowing in them, also as a toothpick, especially where diet includes a lot of meat, like here, in Somaliland

Somaliland???? wow. how did you get there? how many guards did you hire? I have read that Somaliland is better (safer) than Somalia, but still not safe to travel.
anyway, nice photo, i like the light here and the colors - this green rocks. nice moment, a pity about cropped feet. good stuff

Hi swatiek! you seem to travel often in africa.. do you live there now? this is a nice shot for it tells me that those doors are the same that one can see in morocco, and once agian i like the way you compoe it playing with the colors and shadestake care

Only the siluettes can be so important as the people or the objects that there are behind that siluettes.

Czesc! Kolejna fotka w Twoim stylu. A ze ten styl do mnie przemawia, dostajesz najlepsza buzke :) Tzn. dostaniesz jutro, bo limit mi sie wyczerpal.

Hmmm... wyglada na to, ze wrociles. Tylko co, u diabla, robiles w Somalii?? Rafal niedawno pisal, ze byliscie w Etiopii...

-Another very interesting shot, and abit of -somali tradition (well islamic really which stresses cleanliness)
-The(siwak:a type of tree twig used for brushing teeth)
-As to the safety:Somaliland is much safer than the south where the fighting is still on.
I've not been there-somaliland- myself, but know many who have and my aunt's just come from there.
