Photographer's Note

The great Nelson Mandela (it is the case to say it!), (Born in 1918 and died in 2013) represented the arms wide open as a sign of reconciliation and welcome.
Fun and well suited to the situation, a bird landed for a moment on his left hand ... as if a white dove of peace came to honor this man, Nobel Peace Prize in 1994.
What destiny and what an illustrious personality. Mandela, a life spent fighting apartheid segregationist laws. With 27 years behind bars it would have discouraged more than one but not Mandela!
Once released, he continued his fight and obtained with F. de Klerck (representing the white community) the abolition of the terrible discriminatory laws the "non-whites", before being elected President of the Republic of South Africa in 1999.
A consecration, a culmination for an exceptional destiny.Respect.
