Photographer's Note

Mid September at Cathedral Peak in the Northern Drakensberg. No rains yet therefore very little water flowing in the stream. Soon it will not be possible to use this position to take a picture, rain hopefuly will see to that.

Beautiful photo...I love the Drakensberg, now I live down the road from the Dolomites, Northern Italy...still there is Africa in my blood.

Its a spectacular mountain range with lots to see. Nice compo, pity about the haze.

Good vantage point from rocky stream bed, looking though the valley towards the mountains, gradually fading in the haze.
