Sailing Up The Sava River, a photo from Serbia, North

Just the usual winter scene from my neighborhood which I love so much! :)

Across the river you see the island Ada Medjica with it's floating weekend houses visited usually only during summer.

I still consider Sava as a domestic river (it used to be the longest river in ex Yugoslavia, now it runs through 4 countries) and I like it much more than the wild Danube.

Hi Sneza, I see what you mean about it snowing on your birthday - and it's still so cold in January. A beautiful winter scene here, well spotted with the ducks and the little houses. I really like the grey tones here too. Congrats, Lisa.

I like very much this landscape on the river Sava, very soft and amazing. You did very good work with the pp, because the partial desaturation gives an atmosphere impressive and surreal. Well done!

No wonder you like this place so much! It's really beautiful. Even in the foggy weather it has a real beauty and serenity and makes you feel relaxed in this serene environment. The two ducks are a nice addition to the scenery.

Beautiful image, well composed. I love the contrast between the gray tones with the pastel colors of the floating cabins, and of course the duck couple gliding through your image on the journey God knows where.. Excellet choice of square format, great work.

Bonjour Snezana,
l'hiver a été rude et s'en va lentement, mais je sais qu'on va le regretter car il a offert de magnifiques moments photo.
Une superbe ambiance de froid ici avec ce bel avant qui crée la profondeur.
Tout est très naturel dans cette image.

bello scatto la cui monocromia è interrotta solo dalle facciate delle due case.

Zdravo Snežo,

čak i bez patkica, fotka bi bila sasvim zavodljiva. Pošto one daju dinamiku fotki i pošto su mi ljubimice, vrlo sam ih rado video na ovom mestu. Verujem da si imala lepu šetnju pored naše Save, domaće a međunarodne reke.

Hello Snezana,
lovely wintry scene! We had the same kind of weather in Moscow a few days ago :)
I like the composition, with the two ducks in the FG (they are a very necessary and nice part of it!)
Very pleasant view.
Composition-wise, I would suggest cropping a little of the bottom (I'm not too sure but why not to try?)
