On peut dire qu'il y a de la vague, ce doit être un peu étourdissant de marcher sur cette terrasse. La prise de vue en diagonale est très intéressante et le N/B va bien pour cette photo. Beau travail.

Beautiful graphic B&W shot, Goncalo - the pattern is somewhat mesmerizing, and really becomes beautiful at the bottom of the shot when the real detail of the tiles is revealed. Great low angle and use of a wide lens for this one.

Hello Goncalo - The paving is a popular subject on TE but you have found an original and very successful way of presenting it. I love the B&W, it brings the wavy pattern and textures into the forefront and I think you composition is very good. The top LHC anchors the design which sweeps out in a very attractive diagonal across the frame, plenty of movement here and the illusion of undulations is very good. Super! Warm regards Rosemary

Fantastic Black & White. We haven't seen a monoschrome photo from you for a while. Wonderful perspective and graphism. I like the diagonal POV and the superb depth of field that accentuates the geometries.

As you said, this place is easily recognizable in Portugal, but that doesn't matter :)

what does matter is how the photographer photographs it!
and you did a fine job in leaving out all the extra unimportant subjects, keeping the curves as the primary focal point.

Olá, amigo Gonçalo,
escelente encuadre cerrado donde solamente vemos los fantásticos dibujos ondulados del pavimento tan típico en tu país, y que me recuerda el de la plaza de Rossio, que es idéntico.
El grafismo de los dibujos formados por las pequeñas piedras es enorme, y en tu foto resalta todavía más por la conversión a B/N.
Un buen trabajo, interesante y creativo.

I really like your photo, when i stare at your image for a while i've the impression that the curves are moving, as if they were real waves. If I have this weird and surprising feeling it's because your POV is perfect and the B&W the best choice for this image.

Amazing! I love patterns and shapes, so this instantly appeals to my senses. :) I've seen this featured before in many pictures, but this is the first in black & white...and I love it!
