Photographer's Note

Elantxobe port, picturesque setting on the Basque coast, takes shelter in Cape Ogoño massif in its eastern side. It currently remains as a fishing port, but also hosts a number of recreational craft.

Elantxobe township, meanwhile, is situated uphill, taking the mountain behind and in front the sea. Worth a visit to its steep cobbled streets.

El puerto de Elantxobe, pintoresco enclave del litoral vasco, se cobija en el macizo del cabo de Ogoño, en su cara este. Actualmente se mantiene como puerto pesquero, aunque alberga también un buen número de embarcaciones de recreo.

El municipio de Elantxobe, por su parte, se sitúa ladera arriba, teniendo detrás el monte y al frente el mar. Merece la pena una visita a sus empinadas calles empedradas.

Hola Luis,
55 boats anchored in rows, I counted in the nice marina on picture. The ,ountain slop and the crane on right gave scale and depth to the wonderful POV. The big walls as your note implied protect from the big ocean waves inn case of harsh weather.
Light and colors well collected.

Hi Luis,
I love shots of boats in harbours it always looks so peaceful.Great shot with the steep cliff coming in from the left in contrast to the blue sky and the crane jib on the right kind of balances out the scene. Great colours and lighting.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition qui jouit d'une superbe lumière. J'aime bien la grue sur la droite qui semble pointer dans la direction des bateaux dans le petit port.

A scenic view looks over towards the distant sea and the headland. but I like the foreground it seems to introduce the viewer to the neat row of boats in the marina jam packed with colours. There so much to see, lots of good light but that sky is certainly revealing the brilliant weather conditions. Well done once again, Congrats
