Photographer's Note

Looking down a side street from Diamond Head Road in Honolulu. I liked the diminishing linear perspective & vanishing point here, as well as the repetition of the tropical coconut palms. Waikiki is about 1 km to the right.

Taken very late afternoon, so there are already some slight colour tints in the sky.

Hi Chris,

The point of view leads my eye toward the horizon which is giving depth to the composition. It is also allowing me to see the details and colors of the house. The trees are framing well the house. The luminosity is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.
