Photographer's Note
This is interior of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (also known as the Blue Mosque). More than 200 stained glass windows with intricate designs admit natural light, today assisted by chandeliers.

Hello Philip,
I like your low POV, and the depth of this wonderful interior. Capturing only one person in such a large space is very effective. The spiral lights are great, and almost look like stars.

Merhaba,
Galerinizde çok güzel fotoğraflar var. Bu da çok başarılı . Pencerelerden gelen mavi ve sarı ampul ışıkları çok hoş bir etki yaratmış. Tebrikler

Hi Philip,
There are well-composed, sharp photos in your gallery. Your light management is good, too. However, somehow, few people seem to have noticed them. I discovered them today. It may be because you don't post enough critiques to people and your photos go unnoticed sometimes. I don't know. This one is one of the best. One small thing: I'd have placed the man not so much in the middle, maybe toward the left.
I gather you are here in Turkey now. I hope you are having a good time.
Regards.

Hi Philip:
You have a fantastic gallery here! This picture is just phenomenal. Your exposure is spot on, the lights and colors are beautiful, but the subject is what makes this picture. Fantastic job, and keep 'em coming.

Hi Philip - the wide angle effect is further enhanced by the repetitive patterns in the carpeting, it was remarkable that you got only one other person in a vast empty space (maybe he was your friend:-))

Hi Philip,
Sharpness and the use of light is great... It's called Blue Mosque because of it's blue windows which you showed really very nice despite the darkness inside.
Congratulations...

I remember this picture in one of the Yahoo Games. What a spectacular landmark. The man in the frame is a good POV Philip. Glitters from the light is awesome.

Zdravo Philip. Definitely a very fine work. Wonderful sharpness of detail, top quality exposure to catch the colours of the windows and the interior.I was keen to find out the exposure details, but these are not available. Did you use a special filter for the effect on the lights? Tripod too? Pozdrav. Klaudio.

Very interesting, but i'd like to read the EXIF data of this photo
I know your aperture was narrow and your exposure was long 2 or 3 seconds.
I also know you've used a wide angle focal range, but I'd like to know if it was 10mm or more

Appeared at random on the welcome page of TE Philip
Excellent quality shot
Might have been even better with the man somewhat more off-centered
have a good day
