Photographer's Note

This photo was taken from the little Seitani Beach, at Samos island.

The truth is that the summer is gone. However, the summer memories are still on my mind. The photos I have taken remind me of the good time I spent during my holidays.

Sometimes, I find myself staring at the photos and remembering all those wonderful summer moments!!

Looking back can sometimes be a terrible thing to do , because you can't live your life based only on past memories, especially to those that may have hurt you.

Every day is a different day, every moment is unique...
What we people should do is live the present and enjoy every single moment of our lives, and neither stay attached to the past nor look forward to the future, because the past is gone and the future is unpredictable...

panemorfi foto apo mia panemorfi paralia (stin opoia dystyxos akoma den exo paei...). Eksairetika xromata, teleio simeio lipsis kai poly omorfo kadrarisma. Mou aresei pou symperielaves kai tous louomenous stin synthesi sou kathos etsi i oli skini ginetai pio zontani. Sygxaritiria!

Hi Ioanna.
A very well composed/cropped 'postcard' type of shot, and I mean that in a very positive sense. The picture is very pleasingly proportioned and conveys as strong sense of what your nostalgic title is getting at - although perhaps there could be just a little more sea to the left of the point of land. The beach looks uncrowded and somehow protected by the headland, and the gentle waves and blue tones seem so inviting. Nicely done, and with a 'sympatico' note.

Τρεις ομορφα συγκροτημενες φωτογραφιες με ευαισθησια και καλη ματια. Σιγουρα ξεκινας με υπεροχες προυποθεσεις και ειμαι σιγουρος οτι αργα αλλα σταθερα θα γινεις πραγματικα εξαιρετικη. concordo con tutto quello che hai scritto nelle note, sei una ragazza veramente saggia ed intelligente. Si, purtroppo l'estate è finita, anche se fortunatamente il tempo è ancora buono e non fa freddo. Anch'io guardo spesso le mie foto estive, ricordando i bei momenti trascorsi piacevolmente, ma come dici tu, il passato è passato. Per esprimere il tuo pensiero hai postato una bellisima foto, mostrando quanto bella e suggestiva è la tua Grecia. Complimenti sia per la foto sia per le note.

Hello Ioanna!
I took a look at your small gallery (hopefully will grow and grow pretty fast!) and I picked up this one to welcome you at TE and to make my first comment!
It's a beautiful one! The pov was very well chosen, the composition is effective and attractive! Colors are natural and beautiful! Exposure is correct! I only miss a bit more of sharpness (a matter of personnal taste, maybe a hint...). The beach looks wonderful and it's quite inviting!
