A typical Dutch vieuw i post today: a windmill by a canal with the typical hudge ducht clouds. If you look good you see that behind this windmill there are twoo more. This three 17th century windmills standing on their polder landscape near Stompwijk were built in 1672 AD to drain a swamp and turn it into polder

Hello Kiks, congratulations for such a breathtaking view with full of beautiful elements in it. The fence in front adds a sense of depth of field. Late summer typical Duch scenery, Kik.
Great color's compo. with fine contrast and clearity.
The canal has a fabulous mirror effect with the wind-mill's, it's energy is the cleanest/greenest power available, and The Duch knew how to use it even before fossil-fuel was introduced.

wow this is a brilliant composition with the charming wooden fence in the foreground and river leading the eye to the windmill. Amazing light conditions with strong shades give the photo a three dimensional feeling.
The sky is spectacular, very well enhanced with the processing.
Everything seems well thought through with the POV well chosen to capture some of the windmill reflection.

The cloudy sky give to the landscape a specific atmosphere and a very nice light that enhances the composition. I like the 3 principal items, mill, barrier and canal in the middle of the green. Excellent sharpness for a beautiful result

and what a stunning difference it makes to have the atmosphere included - imagine if this were just a clear blue sky, i think alot would be lost.

yes, it is a typical Dutch image, with the canal and the windmill, that you have caught in a good vertical framing, with a fantastic light, a few beautiful colors and specially, with a wonderful sky and a few beautiful clouds that provide a high aesthetic level in the composition.

Wonderful composition. The windmill is centered and is the focal point but the sky is also a major player in your picture, and the road to the mill is in fact a canal. Nice contrast of blue and green also.

Hi Kik,

A typical Dutch setting. It reminds me of the first time I saw these windmills from a plane back in 1995. A Perfect level of exposure and contrast. The colours are well saturated and the overall composition is brilliant.
