This picture has been taken almost four month ago, during a visit to Antwerp, one Flemish city with a world port.
Two year ago I placed a picture out of the same interior, but out of the other side.
A new camera and another lens bring a better picture, also a little bit more experience.
Also a very nice shopping street 'De Meir' completely car free.

History;
October 2007 25 opened the most prestigious project of Antwerp its doors.
Nearly 7 years after the devastating fire was “Stadsfeestzaal” back in its full glory restored, and they got a new destination as' Antwerp Shopping Hot Spot'.
Some 40 shops, including a number of pilot stores of international brands in a unique historical setting with modern accents know absolutely captivate visitors.
On weekdays an average of 25 000 visitors find their way into the Stadsfeestzaal. On Saturdays runs this number to 30 000 visitors and sporadic Sunday openings get 'The Pride of Antwerp' more than 40 000 visitors on the floor!
Antwerp is the real urban deal, a refreshingly down-to-earth yet vivacious cosmopolitan habitat blessed with magnificent architecture, fashionable shop fronts, beer-washed pubs, dazzling monuments, jazzed-up clubs, inspired artworks and restaurant tables piled with plates of superb Belgian and multicultural food. Antwerp, home of the Flemish Baroque master Rubens, not only has a wealth of outstanding museums, picturesque galleries, sculpted streets and beautiful architecture, but is also laced with refreshing greenery and urban haunts. Its culture, history, vibrant nightlife and world class shopping are within easy reach, thanks to excellent access by air, train, motorway and even water. Antwerp, a pocket size metropolis.

a really interesting mall, because of its interior decoration, its light and its vivid colors, which you have caught in a good angle with a nice perspective.
It looks like a very agreeable place to go shopping, with many shops and with the natural light that enters across the ceiling, which is mixed by the artificial lighting creating a very comfortable atmosphere.

Hello John!
I have not visited Antwerp, Brussels alone. However, I was in Amsterdam, London, and there I saw a similar business. Amsterdam, the main square, and the royal palace is located behind the same. The 24-mm lens, although not too wide, but much less distortion.
I, as the buildings generally take photos, I need a wider angle. The Canon lenses were always isjók. Good color accuracy, low distortion, sharp contrasts. But it is worth nothing if there is a photographer's eyes :-)

Hello John,

You're capturng well this shopping cenetr by a good angle and excellent tone, so it's impressive to see elegant architecture as Art Déco. The design and the cone-shaped ceiling of the wall especially pull my eyes. It is likely to be able to become rich feelings if coming to such a place to shop.

Hallo John,

Heel knap belichte foto, want er is in de foto geen harde stukje schaduw te bespeuren en hetzelfde geldt voor een overbelichte gedeelte, dit terwijl er ramen en verlichting in het spel zijn.

De foto bevat veel diepte en hoogte, het is net alsof je als kijker er zelf staat (hele mooie standpunt).

Ondanks dat de foto heel veel details bevat, komt de foto alles behalve druk over, oftewel heel knap de foto verdeeld.

Samengevat: een knap stukje fotowerk.

P.s. bij mijn laatste upload bedoelde ik meer de formaat, dan de bestand.
Wat betreft de bestanden verkleinen, jammer genoeg werkt het programma wat ik heb niet zo secuur zoals ik dat graag zo willen hebben, hopelijk vind ik binnenkort een iets beter programma dan wat ik nu heb.

A beautiful interior shot. I'd better have a take a good at it, as I am planning to introduce some interior shots later on. This is one of the things Europe is so good at, to restore an old building and turn it into something magnificent. You have a great POV. I can feel the quality of the interior so well. This is a superb view on a two-stories shopping plaza captured by the rules book: Perfect verticals on either side of frame for the impression of being myself on the premises, and most important is the huge skylights letting through daylight for an even illumination of those rich Versailles-like decorations!

Hi John,
Very elegant interior. I think Antwerpen is a great destination for a visit. If the weather is great you can photograph the magnificent cathedral, if it rains you can enjoy the spectacular train station or this lovely shopping hall.
