Schone Naci's statue (named Ignác Lamár) welcomes you in the center of Bratislava. He is one of the favorite spot for tourists making photos under his hat.

I'm enjoying reliving Bratislava through your photos, Stephane. I have, of course, the typical tourist shot of me under that hat... as well as others with either me or my wife posed with various Bratislava statues (many of which are really quite wonderful and funny). This view of the statue is great, with the hat blurring into the background during blue hour, and wonderful light reflecting off the statue, part warm, part cool. Great detail and clarity here.

Hi Stephane,
Smart choice of tight crop to accentuate the statue with splendid sharpness. Well done.
I was born in Bratislava and still remeber Scheone Naci walking through city roads, well dressed carying some gift parcels. His history is a very sad story, when he was young, just before wedding his fiancee died. Cocequently he got mad, he never recovered. After this he was just walking through the roads, or sitting in coffee houses, very inocent parson but popular in the town.

Un clair-obscur épatant à cause de l'exposition pour les hautes lumières de l'édifice qui rend un air mystérieux au bronze tout en y révélant les traits principaux.
Je m'y sentirais bien accueilli en effet!

Well, finally a great photo of schone Naci! I love the unique POV, composition and work with field of depth. And also the evening colors work like an invitation to the behind Cafe Mayer.
