This is Cerro Torre soaring over the magnificent southern autumn colors. Straight from the camera with a crop. It really is THIS beautiful down there.

Autumn in April, it's surprising for us.
Superb contrast.
The weather should not be very hot on the walls, even with the sun.

When I see Cerro Torre I always wonder how is it possible that a mountain could be so beautiful and frightening at the same time.
I agree with you with the idea of an horizontal frame, to produce a contrast between the verticality of Cerro Torre and the nature around.
