A camera draws kids like sand fleas to an unprotected leg. While photographing this boat on Ochheuteal Beach these kids magically appeared and asked for their photo to be taken. Once one was taken, and they saw it on the screen, any hope of an empty, forelorn, boat dying on the shore disappeared.

The kids had a great time and didn't really want me to head back up the beach. However, leave I did, and as I left they were asking for 400 Riel (about US$0.10) for the photos. I'd just been in the water, so my money was back at my table ... but they weren't upset that they didn't get any money.
