The Leg of Salvador Dali
1200 Pixel Beta Version

Another picture of the Crazy, Surrealistic World of Salvador Dali.
I still do have the catalogue of the large Dali Exhibition in the Boymans van Beuningen Museum in 1970-1971.
It was my first acquaintance with his absurdist realism.
Although the surrealism is not my favourite art form, I always highly admire the hyper accurate painting skills and the unlimited fantasy.
I’ve met the work of Dali in many museums after 1970 and always enjoyed this meetings.
In all those years it were mainly his paintings I saw and I was surprise by a sculpture of him in Quebec this summer and even more by the Dali exhibition in Liege with a lot of three dimensional work.
There was often a great similarity with the figures in his paintings and sometimes it looked like he had put his paintings in a 3D-printer.
