Photographer's Note
I am going to leave you............... for a fortnight, to visit my grandson in England. This reminds me the first travel we have done with my wife to reach UK: sailing a boat. We left Port la Forêt, stopped in the Scilly islands, then sailed to Ireland, and back to France (5 weeks journey).
Here, we are crossing the English Channel pushed by a medium wind. Picture taken bending over the balcony, with the hand held camera without looking through the viewfinder. Waiting to have a big wave (but not too big to wash the camera!!) I have to rotate slightly the image in post processing. Scanned old Kodachrome slide so grainy picture, sorry!

Olá Claude, wonderful dynamic and artistic image with a strong sense of adventure. The dramatic action makes me think you were on the back of a dolphin to take this shot :) Even being a scan and a grainny image, it's a pleasure to look at this scene.
Happy safe sails,

Bonjour Claude,
Yves.

Hi Claude
exciting image, I like when someone looks for original, different POVs just like you've done here. Love the effect, the grain given by the scanning process.
Have a good day!

Claude,
Strong image. Very good work in spite of the grain due to the scanning process.
Best regards,

yes, the grain is a bit disturbing here (actually, the scan of the grain is, not the grain in itself...), but the moment is fantastic - the spray and the tilt convey perfectly the speed and the feeling of being almost in the water.
have a good break :)

bonjour Claude

Amicalement
Jacques
