Photographer's Note

This is another view of Sorrento Beach. This time taken just after sunset (the time in the exif data is EST), showing a clump of the vegetation that grows on the sand dunes. Around Sorrento there has been a coastal revegetation effort over the last 10 years or so which has been very sucessful.

In Perth most afternoons in summer a 20-30 kt sea breeze springs up, whipping the sand around and creating choppy surf and also making patterns in the sand, where bathers feet have not trodden...

A wonderful verticaly framed landcsape image. A nice feeling of quiet eminates from the shot and it has good clarity.

The sharpness of this photo is very good, I also like the composition and the colours, the glow from the setting sun on the sand is special.

Your photo full with fantastic beauties in full version. The low angled lights on beach are wonderful while your long exposure adding great matted effect on water surface. The clarity on sky and all over frame noticeable especially with pink horizon. Congratulations.

Hello Steve, Nice warm glow from the setting sun, I like the interesting pattern on the sand around the clump of grass. Nice sharp & colourful image with every grain of sand clearly visible in the FG.
