Looking at this superb shot makes me feel like I was still there, at 6 am, quietly installed with a roarman heading for the main ghat for attend puja celebrations
This shot really conveys the mood of the place at dawn
and it's perfectly composed with the roarman off centered

Beautiful balance Animesh, the light at dawn, it hasnt sunk in yet, just back from kumbh. I wish i was there for a month, not just for the photography but for the calm , the peace, the simplicity. I havent been to benaras but i am sure it will be even more peaceful than haridwar..

couldnt get a media pass, my movement therefore being restricted..managed something though..holidays dont come by easily..i had to make the most of it

A magical dawn in this age old city. A dawn when Bismillah is about to start Lalit in his Sehnai. The blue tone is beautifully representing the atmosphere.

The prettiest part is the white of the boat. Looks very surreal. Wish you had got a bit more of the other oar. Amazing balance of light

Very well composed shot. What is amazed me is the quality and sharpness of this shot! I've been at the same position and I know how hard it is to make a good shot in such a low light over the moving boat!
