Photographer's Note
In almost every museum in Tunisia one can see great mosaics from the Roman period. The best ones are in the Bardo museum in Tunis, but since the crowds there can be unbearable, a really good place to visit is the archaeological museum of Sousse. The collection of mosaics is superb, one can enjoy them in peace and the museum is in the interesting setting of the kasabah.
The mosaic on the photo is a floor mosaic from a roman villa. It reminds me of the works of Escher.

Hi Bojan, excelent shot with detail of mosaic. We can see thet all modern art come from that time.
