Photographer's Note
This is another in my mini series on life in a couple of hospitals in Kampala.I would like to put them in a theme folder but have yet to work out to do it.
Anyway, there are some very good little hospitals who despite always being short of money do some wonderful work. There are a number of conditions that cause people great hardship often because they become outcasts or unable to support themselves. Cataracts are a major problem that can be sorted out for a small sum of money and in a very short time. Cleft lips and palates can be done in 1.5 hours with almost invisible results.

So, I've now found this one... No critique nor comment yet ! Incredible, because obviously very interesting. The note accompanying the photo is also worth reading.
What is a bit regrettable is that we can only guess what's happening (centre of the photo is not so clear - not thinking of the unfortunately overexposed gloves, not a big deal for me, but the hands are hiding what's going on), and - another suggestion : in square format it would have worked even better IMO, concentrating on the action.
But this said : a very interesting photo from an unusual place, compliments and "TFS" !
Have a great stay in Australia,
Cath.
