Photographer's Note

From the first day I arrived at Siem Reap, at the Angkor Wat, the most famous temple in Cambodia.

Angkor Wat as the largest and best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre—first Hindu, then Buddhist. Built in the first half of the twelfth century by King Suryavarman II to honour the god Vishnu . So this is is a large statue of Vishnu, a place of pilgrimage for locals and adorned with flowers and offerings, in the gopura of the outer entrance. There you can find some elderly buddhist nuns, who can assist you to pray if you want, and also tell about your fortune.

There were so many people, either the tourists or people who wish to prey, I had to wait patiently until 'cleared up' and for the right moment before 'click'
