A detail of a small boat in the Kampong Chhnang floating village.
Most people living there are ethnic Vietnamese.

I dedicate this post to axiotea, she is undertaking a trip to India today with a strained ankle... I wish her a safe and stress-free journey

Un détail des décorations de la proue d'un sampan dans le village flottant de Kampong Chhnang, dans la province du même nom.
La plupart des habitants sont d'origine Vietnamienne.

Je dédie ce post à axiotea qui entreprend un voyage pour Bombay avec une sérieuse entorse cet après-midi... Je lui souhaite un voyage facile et sans encombre (ca va pas être facile avec un transit de 6h à l'aéroport!)

Hello Laurent,
This picture is beautifully composed and taken with just the right DOF to give a sharp image of the colourful boat in the FG but also a hint of another in the BG. The blue reflections in the water seem to hold the two boats together which I think is part of the charm of this image.
I am looking forward to my trip to Cambodia and Vietnam later this year.

Bien pris ce détail en gros lan la map est efficace et laisse deviner en flou d'autre bateaux coloré, joli resulta au niveau des reflets sur l'eau.

What amazing amount of delicious color here and bags of detail capture, I believe this 'eye-seeing-u' traditional boat has its own uniqueness or trademark of this location, and I have seen the similar style in Mekong Delta Vietnam. It's not only rich in colors but also in architectural beauty that can be proud off. Sharpness, exposure and contrast are second to none. A real eye-catcher and nice piece of photo works. Congrats
