Photographer's Note

Following on from my previous post; you emerge from the forest trail and here is the eastern entrance to the famous Angkor Wat. Its just so impressive. So many fabulous details to admire. I spent three days exploring the area and it wasn't enough.

Un des endroits au monde que j'aimerais vraiment visiter, mais comme on ne peut pas tout voir, je vais me contenter de cette très belle photo. Le cadrage est classique mais très efficace et la qualité des détails est impressionnante.

Hello Chris,
I visited this amazing temple 18 months ago and agree that it is very impressive. The light in your picture is perfect and shows up much of the detail. It was good to include some of the grass and shrubs in the FG.

Hi Chris,
It must be a very impressive place to visit, the architecture is unusual ! You had a very nice light here. It would have been better I think to cut the leafs on the left (just had to walk one meter probably !).

Excelnt shot, Chris, from its technical details and the intriguing sight.
Superb clear elements on the big shrine, and superb light upon. Great contrast to blue sky, with patchs of clouds.
